Viewing All Pastures on the Map

The Map View shows every mapped pasture on your operation at once, so you can see where your land and animals sit relative to one another. This is different from mapping a single pasture’s boundary (see Mapping a Pasture) — Map View is an overview of everything you’ve already mapped.

How to Open Map View

1. Go to the Pastures screen.
2. Click Map View in the header.

What You See

• All pasture boundaries — Each mapped pasture is drawn as a colored, filled shape on a satellite map. The pasture you’ve selected is outlined in yellow to stand out.
• Pasture labels — Each pasture shows its name, current animal count, and 7-day rainfall total on the map.
• Summary stats — Across all pastures: total Animals, Avg Days (average days animals have been in their current pasture), Avg 7 Day In and Avg 30 Day In (average rainfall).
• Pasture list — A scrollable list of every mapped pasture with its acreage, rainfall, and animal count. Click a list item to select it and fly to it on the map.

Selecting a Pasture

1. Click a pasture’s shape on the map, its marker, or its row in the side list.
2. A detail card appears showing the pasture’s Acres, Animals, Avg Days, and a 7-day/30-day rainfall breakdown.
3. Click Open Pasture to go to that pasture’s record.

Other Controls

• Fit Map — Zooms and pans so all your mapped pasture boundaries are visible at once.
• Pastures (back button) — Returns to the main Pastures screen.

Tips

• Map View only shows pastures with drawn boundaries. If a pasture is missing from the map, open it and use Map Pasture to draw its boundary first — the page will tell you how many pastures still need one.
• Use it to spot-check rainfall coverage. The 7-day and 30-day rainfall figures per pasture make it easy to see which fields have gotten moisture recently and which haven’t.
