Uploading an Animal Photo

You can attach a photo to any animal record. The image appears on the animal’s summary view and helps with visual identification.

How to Upload a Photo

1. Open the animal’s record.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the Image section, click Upload or tap the image placeholder.
4. Select an image file from your device.
5. Click Save.

How to Replace a Photo

1. Open the animal’s record.
2. Click Edit.
3. In the Image section, click the existing photo or the change button.
4. Select a new image file.
5. Click Save.

Supported Formats

• JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
• PNG (.png)

Tips

• Take photos from the side. A broadside photo makes it easy to identify the animal by color pattern and build.
• Include the ear tag in the photo. This makes it easy to visually match the photo to the record.
• Use the mobile app for convenience. Taking and uploading photos is fastest from your phone while in the field.
