Managing Pasture Crops
Track what is planted or planned for each pasture by adding crop records. This helps you manage forage production and plan grazing rotations.
How to Add a Crop Record
- Open the pasture.
- Navigate to the Crops section.
- Click Add Crop.
- Fill in the details:
- Type — The type of crop (e.g., Bermuda grass, Fescue, Alfalfa, Winter wheat).
- Amount — The quantity planted or planned.
- Click Save.
Editing and Removing Crops
- Edit — Click on an existing crop record to update the type or amount.
- Remove — Delete a crop record if it is no longer relevant.
Tips
- Record crops each season. Keeping crop records current helps you compare forage availability across pastures.
- Use consistent crop type names. Consistent naming makes it easier to search and compare across pastures.
