Using Groups on the Dashboard

Groups marked “Show on Dashboard” appear as summary cards on the main dashboard, giving you a quick overview of your key herds without navigating to the Groups screen.

How to Show a Group on the Dashboard

  1. Open the group and click Edit Group.
  2. On the Details tab, toggle Show on Dashboard to on.
  3. Click Save.

What Dashboard Cards Show

Each group card on the dashboard displays:

  • Group name — The name of the group.
  • Animal count — The current number of animals in the group.
  • Quick access — Click the card to jump directly into the group view.

Tips

  • Only show groups you check often. Too many dashboard cards can be overwhelming. Reserve dashboard slots for active, high-priority groups.
  • Smart groups update automatically. The dashboard count reflects current membership, so smart group cards always show up-to-date counts.
