Exporting Your Data

Account owners can download a complete backup of their ranch data — animals, financials, treatments, breedings, pastures, and attached images — as a single downloadable file.

How to Export Your Data

1. Click Settings in the navigation menu.
2. Go to Ranch Settings and find the Data Export section.
3. Click Export All Data.
4. Confirm the export in the dialog that appears. Large accounts may take a few minutes.

Once the export finishes, your download starts automatically.

What’s Included

The export is a ZIP file containing your data organized by module (animals, animal notes, treatments, weights, ratings, breedings, groups, pastures, financial categories, vendors, transactions, receipts, and account info), plus folders of attached images for animals, receipts, transactions, and pastures. A manifest file summarizes what was included.

Tips

• Only the account owner (or a super admin) can export. If you don’t see this option, ask your account owner to run the export.
• Your download link is temporary. If you don’t save the file right away, you may need to run the export again to get a fresh link.
• Good to run before a big cleanup. Export your data before using Starting Over: Resetting Account Data if you want a copy of what you’re about to delete.
