Calendar Event Types
The calendar pulls together six kinds of events from across Cattle360. Each has its own icon and comes from a specific part of the app. This article explains what each one means and where it originates.
The Six Event Types

How Upcoming Rotation Moves Are Predicted
For each active grazing rotation that has a Target Graze Days set, Cattle360 predicts the next move date by adding that target to the date the herd last moved. The predicted date appears as a Rotation (Upcoming) event so you can see a move coming before it’s due. Adjust the rotation’s target or move the herd, and the prediction updates.
Why an Event Might Not Appear
- The source record isn’t there yet. No breeding due date means no Calving Due event; no sale ticket means no Sale event.
- Its type is filtered off. Toggle chips control which types show — see Filtering Events by Type.
- It falls outside the month on screen. Page to the right month to see it.
- A rotation has no target graze days, so no upcoming move can be predicted.
Tips
- Every event links back to its home. Use the calendar to spot what needs attention, then click through to do the work.
- Cancelled tasks drop off the calendar, so cancelling a task also clears its due-date event.
