Calendar Overview

The Calendar brings the key dates from across Cattle360 together in one month-at-a-glance view. Instead of checking the tasks list, the calving screen, your sale tickets, and your grazing rotations separately, you see them all on the days they fall — alongside daily rainfall for your pastures.

Where to Find It

Open Calendar from the main navigation. It opens on the current month with today highlighted.

What the Calendar Shows

The calendar gathers events from several parts of the app and plots each one on its date:

• Tasks — every task, on its due date.
• Calving Due — cows and heifers expected to calve.
• Sales — recorded animal sales.
• Pasture Maintenance — logged maintenance activities.
• Rotation (Past) — herd moves into a pasture that have already happened.
• Rotation (Upcoming) — the next predicted move for an active grazing rotation.

Each day cell also shows a rainfall indicator when rain was logged for your pastures that day. See Calendar Event Types for what each event means and where it comes from.

A Read-Only Roll-Up

The calendar is a view, not a place to create records. Events appear because you recorded them elsewhere — a task’s due date, a breeding’s expected calving date, a sale ticket, a maintenance entry, a rotation, a rainfall log. Update the source record and the calendar reflects it. Clicking any event takes you straight to the screen where it lives, so you can act on it.

What You Can Do From the Calendar

• Move between months and jump back to today.
• Filter by event type using the toggle chips, so you can focus on just calving, just tasks, and so on.
• Open a day to see everything scheduled on it, including a rainfall summary, and click through to any event.

Tips

• Use it as your week-ahead planner. Scan the coming days for calvings, rotation moves, and due tasks in one place.
• Keep source records current. The calendar is only as complete as the tasks, breedings, sales, and rotations behind it.
