Navigating the Calendar

The Calendar opens in a month view centered on the current month, with today’s date highlighted. This article covers moving around and reading the day cells.

Moving Between Months

• Previous / Next — use the left and right chevron arrows beside the month name to step one month at a time.
• Month label — the current month and year are shown between the arrows.
• Today — click the Today button to jump straight back to the current month.

Each time you change months, the calendar loads the events and rainfall for the dates on screen.

Reading a Day Cell

Every day shows:

• The date number in the corner.
• A rainfall indicator (a cloud icon with the average inches) when rain was logged for your pastures that day.
• Up to a few event chips, each with an icon for its type and a short label.
• A “+N more” note when a day has more events than fit in the cell.

On Mobile

The calendar is responsive. On smaller screens the layout tightens up and each day shows fewer event chips to stay readable; open a day to see the full list. The rainfall icon still appears, with the numeric value condensed to save space.

Tips

• Today is always highlighted, so you can orient quickly after paging through months.
• Tap into any day rather than squinting at chips — the day detail view shows every event with full titles and context.
