Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you log into Cattle360. It provides a real-time snapshot of your operation with quick access to the most common tasks.

What You’ll See

The Dashboard displays several sections:

• Group summary cards — Each group you’ve marked “Show on Dashboard” appears as a card showing the group name, animal count, and a quick link to view the group.
• Herd totals — A summary of your total active animals by type.
• Quick action buttons — One-click access to add animals, create groups, and other common tasks.

Group Cards

Group cards are the primary feature of the Dashboard. Each card shows:

• Group name — The name of the group.
• Animal count — How many animals are currently in the group.
• Group type — Whether the group is static or smart.

Click on a group card to view the animals in that group.

Navigating from the Dashboard

From the Dashboard, you can access all major sections of Cattle360 through the top navigation menu:

• Production — Breeding, Calving, and Weaning.
• Groups — The full Groups Dashboard.
• Markets — Auction data and market intelligence.
• Pastures — Pasture management.
• Financials — Income, expenses, and reports.
• Reports — Custom reports.
• Settings — Account and user settings.

Tips

• Show your most-used groups on the Dashboard. When editing a group, toggle “Show on Dashboard” to keep important groups visible at a glance.
• Use the Dashboard as your starting point. Most daily tasks can be kicked off directly from the Dashboard or the group cards displayed on it.
