Filtering by Date Range

You can filter the data shown across the Financial Dashboard, Ledger, Profit & Loss report, and Profitability report by date range. This controls which transactions are included in totals, charts, and reports.

How to Open the Date Filter

Click the filter icon or the label showing the current period (e.g., “Year-to-Date”) in the toolbar at the top of any financial page.

Available Date Periods

The Date Filter dialog offers four options:

Year-to-Date (YTD)

Shows all transactions from January 1 of the current year through today.

Month-to-Date (MTD)

Shows all transactions from the 1st of the current month through today.

All Time

Shows every transaction on the account with no date restriction.

Custom Date Range

Lets you pick a specific start date and end date. When you select Custom, two date picker fields appear:

  • Start Date — The beginning of your date range.
  • End Date — The end of your date range.

Applying the Filter

  1. Select your desired period.
  2. If using Custom, enter the start and end dates.
  3. Click Apply.

The active filter label in the toolbar updates to show your selection (e.g., “YTD”, “MTD”, “All”, or the custom date range).

Resetting the Filter

To return to the default, open the Date Filter dialog again and select a different period, then click Apply. The filter applies across all financial pages for the duration of your session.
